Planned Events from Spring 2008

March 21st to 24th : Easter Volunteers camp and members days.
Hedge laying and fencing weekend on Bryn Mawr at the beginning of our lambing season!

May 3rd, 4th and 5th: Work weekend and members day. Continuing excavations in the long house and cow house.

May 24th,25th and 26th: Work weekend and members day in preparation of International volunteers summer camp.

June 21st Montgomeryshire Wildlife Trust recording day at Bryn Mawr.

June 22nd Site open day and members weekend.

July 12th &13th. Tewksbury medieval festival. Medieval fair, market and battle re enactment. (River Seven permitting)

July 7th to July 18th. Student placements and school visits.

July 19th to July 30th. Volunteers summer work camp on Bryn Mawr, hosting a group of international volunteers. Fencing, dry stone walling, rush ,bracken cutting and hay making(?)

August 9th &10th Bodelwyddan Castle Medieval festival and re-enactment, North Wales. Heritage Trust exhibition, living history display and battle re enactment.

August 23rd to 25th Late summer work camp and living history work shops on Bryn Mawr.

August 24th Open day and living history displays

September 6th / 7th Open doors visitors weekend as part of European Heritage Days. Guided tours and living history displays.

September 27th &28th Bodelwyddan castle history festival. Trust exhibition and medieval living history displays.

November 1st St Cadfin Day celebration and medieval pilgrimage to Llangadfan church.

November 8th &15th Tree planting days for volunteers to create new woodlands, heritage orchards and habitat
